Plot[]
Kirika promised Magus a reward after they successfully take back the Star Key from Felicia. It turned out that it was supposed to be a Summer Camp, but Valerie strongly opposed this idea as being too risky at a time like this.
Summer Camp is an annual event based on the legend of the Holy Witch and it's about going to Holy Witch Spring and training to enhance magic skills. For students it's more about fun events like playing in the river and making a campfire. When Inaluna hears about that, she decides that she absolutely has to go to the Summer Camp. First, she convinces Sara and Yuu, that going to the Holy Witch Spring might help in solving the mystery of Star Eyes. Sara reminds herself that in a certain book there is a passage saying: "To further enhance the magic of the Witch's Eye, purify your eyes in the Holy Witch Spring, the light of life in the frozen valley".
Next, the other members of Magus have to be convinced. Levi has to trigger the conversations in the right order, for example:
- Glen - as a training maniac, he will go when he hears that Summer Camp will be about training.
- Ashley - she gets easily provoked by Inaluna.
- Dino - he agrees to join if Ashley was already convinced.
Finally, Magus goes to convince Instructor Valerie. She agrees when she hears that it will be a training camp with the verification of the Star Eyes. Kirika, as a big fan of drought crabs, wants to go to Summer Camp herself, but Valerie won't let her.
When Magus arrive at the Holy Witch Spring area, everybody wants to do different things first. Ashley gets depressed, so Dino introduces discipline, by splitting people into groups and assigning different tasks to each group. After Levi checks how each group is doing, Glen and Dino calls everyone to help them fight the drought crabs. After the feast, it turns out that Egg Mushroom soaked in the Holy Witch Spring changed its shape into lapistier-like. Suddenly Dino hears something in the bushes and attacks. It turns out that it was Kirika who came here alone for the sake of drought crab miso.
During the Summer Camp, we can learn about Dino's and Glen's old times at Urgard and about Heine's shamanic chants.
